The engine air filter in your Audi removes dirt and other particulates from entering your engine’s intake to maximize performance and increase fuel economy. The cleaner the air entering your engine, the better it mixes with fuel to have a more complete burn during engine combustion.

When your engine air filter is dirty, it reduces the amount of air that can enter your engine, causing your Audi to consume more fuel and lose performance. Additionally, it can cause crankcase air and oil to be drawn in from the engine contaminating air hoses with oil and forcing your engine to burn oil.

Replacing Your Audi Air Filter
