Your VW headlights are vital for your safety when driving at night or when weather conditions make it difficult to see. Replacing Your VW Headlights

Headlights that consist of a bulb assembly must be replaced whenever the bulb goes dim or burns out. Headlights with replaceable bulbs only require the bulb itself to be replaced when burned out.

Electrical problems are not common but can occur within a headlight. Corroded electrical connections and bulb sockets can prevent the headlights from illuminating, requiring replacement of the headlight.

Lastly, glass and plastic lens headlights can be damaged by the sun or other weather conditions.
