• The AC compressor on your Land Rover and Range Rover keeps you cool by compressing gas refrigerant into liquid dropping it’s temperature below freezing. This liquid refrigerant is then pumped into the evaporator inside the vehicle’s passenger compartment where air flows through the evaporator cooling the air you feel coming from the AC vents.
• If the AC compressor quits working, the only air you will feel will be the hot air being blown in from outside.
